In July 2001, we received an invitation to be the "special guest stars" of GPA Southern Nevada's 7th Annual Las Vegas Greyhound Picnic In The Park. They wanted us to set up a Renaissance encampment to help add to the picnic's Renaissance theme. We happily agreed.

We had a bit of surprise early on the day of the picnic: We were told that we were to be the main guests on an episode of "Animal Avenue", a Las Vegas TV show. In addition to an interview with all of us, the show filmed two episodes using our encampment as a backdrop and we got to tape several station breaks. We have yet to receive a tape of the show, but those who saw us said we looked and sounded greyt. We'll see about that...   :-)
